Singer KK No More: बॉलीवुड के मशहूर सिंगर केके (KK) जिनका पूरा नाम कृष्णकुमार कुनाथ है उनका मंगलवार को कोलकाता में एक लाइव कॉन्सर्ट (Live Concert) के कुछ घंटों बाद 53 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया। उनके निधन पर कई प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने ट्वीट किया, “हम उन्हें उनके गीतों के माध्यम से हमेशा याद रखेंगे।”
Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.

आपको बता की केके कॉन्सर्ट के बाद अपने होटल रूम में वापस जा रहे थे तब वह अचानक होटल की सीढ़ियों से गिर। जिसके बाद उन्हें शहर के सीएमआरआई अस्पताल (CMRI Hospital) में भर्ती कराया गया, लेकिन डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। उनकी मौत का कारण हार्ट अटैक (Cardiac Arrest) बताया जा रहा है।
गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने भी केके की अकाल मृत्यु पर शोक जताते हुए कहा कि गायक की मृत्यु “भारतीय संगीत के लिए बहुत बड़ी क्षति” है।
KK was a very talented and versatile singer. His untimely demise is very saddening and a huge loss to Indian music. With his gifted voice, he has left an indelible impression on the minds of countless music lovers. My deepest condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti Shanti

आपको बता दें की केके भारतीय म्यूजिक इंडस्ट्री के सबसे वर्सटाइल गायकों में से एक है। उन्होंने न सिर्फ हिंदी में, बल्कि तमिल, तेलुगु, कन्नड़ और बंगाली सहित कई भाषाओं में गाने गाए हैं।
क्रिकेटर वीरेंद्र सहवाग ने भी ट्विटर दुःख प्रकट कर लिखा, “जीवन कितना नाजुक है, इसका एक और उदहारण।”

हैरानी की बात यह की वह अपनी मौत से कुछ घंटे पहले, केके ने कोलकाता में अपने लाइव परफॉरमेंस के कुछ अंश अपने सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट पर पोस्ट किए थे।
आपको बता दें की केके की डेब्यू एल्बम “पल” थी, जिससे उन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत की। इसके अलावा उनके मशहूर गानों में से फिल्म काइट्स के “जिंदगी दो पल की”, ओम शांति ओम फिल्म के गाने “आंखों में तेरी”, फिल्म बचना ऐ हसीनों के “खुदा जाने”, हम दिल दे चुके सनम के गाने “तड़प-तड़प” और कई गाने शामिल है।
